Take One Picture

Today was the Federation’s Take One Picture exhibition.

This is a scheme setup by the National Gallery where children create artworks inspired by famous paintings. This year’s painting was Canaletto's Regatta on the Grand Canal created in 1740. It depicts the annual Venice regatta. Each year group has made lots of different artworks based off of the original painting including clay models of boats in the regatta and Year 3 has even made a stop-motion film which you can see below. The finished artworks will be sent to the National Gallery to possibly be exhibited!

The project was kindly organised by Miss Drage from Year 6.
